Foster Dog Ready for Forever Home

Riley

Our foster dog Riley is ready for his forever home! Riley has been staying with us for 2 weeks now and has adjusted well.  He just had a vet exam and is in stellar shape.  Riley is a fixed 25 pound Boxer mix with a short brindel coat. Thankfully, he has never had an accident in the house! He aims to please and does’nt mind being put in the crate if needed. Riley likes to fetch, play with other dogs at the dog park and chill out to a movie once in a while.  I have taken him to craft breweries and he was well behaved towards kids, parents and other dogs.

Riley does bark when necessary and once in a while he whines a little too much, but that behavior is becoming less frequent. I’m not sure about his opinion of cats. He knows how to use a dog door and a fenced yard would be ideal. His high puppy like energy requires that he rage a few times a day. Play, nap, play, nap, play nap is preferred.

If you are interested in adopting Riley, please submit an adoption application located on our website, www.coloradocaninerescue.org. We are asking for a $175 adoption donation. He is neutered, housebroken, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Please note, CCR cannot guarantee the breed composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the shelter.
